Devlog 0 – Welcome to the Simulation (Chapter 0 Begins)


Hey everyone!

I’m kicking off development logs for my upcoming fast-paced sci-fi FPS shooter where you’ll be facing off against rogue AI in a high-stakes, adrenaline-fueled setting.

🚀 Chapter 0 – Simulation Tutorial The first chapter isn’t your typical hand-holding tutorial. It’s a simulation zone – a controlled environment where you’re thrown into the basics without guidance. That’s right:

❌ No pop-up messages. ❌ No text boxes explaining controls. ✅ 100% Trial and Error.

This is part of my core design philosophy:

“Learn by doing, fail forward, and figure things out on your own.”

Just like in real combat simulations, you’re expected to adapt, react, and learn. You’ll test movement, weapons, and basic mechanics – all in a way that feels organic and immersive.

💡 Why This Approach? I want to immerse players without breaking the flow with text dumps. Everything you need to know is in the environment – you just have to observe, experiment, and survive.
