Devlog 1 – The Safehouse Isn’t Safe Anymore


Hey again, Operatives.

Following the simulation in Chapter 0, we enter the real game world. Welcome to Chapter 1 – where your safehouse has been hacked.

🏠 First Real Area – Compromised Safehouse You wake up in what used to be your secure zone. Now, it’s flickering with red lights, doors are jammed, and something’s corrupted the systems.

No cinematics. No exposition. You’re in control from the first second.

🔐 Minor Puzzle Mechanics Introduced This area introduces light puzzle elements — nothing overcomplicated, just enough to make you stop and think. The goal is to push you to observe, interact, and deduce.

Reroute power manually

Solve environmental logic puzzles

Override locked systems without direct guidance

React to environmental feedback (lights, sounds, movement)

Still no text popups. Still no hand-holding. Learn by failing.

🎯 Design Goal This chapter is about cause and effect. If you touch something, it reacts. If you ignore it, the world keeps shifting around you.

You begin to understand the rules of this universe — not through tutorials, but through trial, error, and intuition.
